SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta menggelar kegiatan AMT (Achievement Motivation Training<\/em>) sebagai upaya pembekalan secara materi maupun mental siswa. Upaya ini dimaksudkan untuk mengangkat peserta didik. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan untuk siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 107 siswa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu, 23 Oktober 2024 di Griya Taruna Kaliurang, dan dipandu oleh Dr Irsasri, M. Pd. CPC, CPS, CPR, CPHR, CSW, CHRS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ide Achievement Motivation Training (Mt) pertama kali dicetuskan oleh McClelland pada tahun 1960. Ide tersebut kemudian dikembangkan sebagai bentuk pengembangan motivasi berprestasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Program ini merupakan suatu bentuk pendidikan maupun pelatihan yang intinya untuk memberikan kesadaran pada seseorang atau individu supaya mengetahui potensi yang ada pada dirinya serta memotivasi individu tersebut untuk berprestasi semaksimal mungkin.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kegiatan AMT yang berupa outbound<\/em> yang dikemas dalam bentuk permainan namun mendidik. Jenis permainan inilah sebenarnya yang digemari siswa. Sehingga meningkatkan semangat, motivasi, memperkuat mental dan meningkatkan prestasi peserta didik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adapun tujuan AMT antara lain:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Membangun dan memelihara motivasi untuk meraih prestasi<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Mengenal kemampuan diri<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Menanam dorongan hati yang positip<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Mengembangkan motif berprestasi<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Serangkaian AMT dilakukan mulai dari kegiatan pembukaan oleh Kepala Sekolah SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta,\u00a0Ice breaking\u00a0<\/em>dan\u00a0fun games<\/em>. Peserta juga diberikan sesi waktu untuk menjalin kearaban dengan kuis yang menarik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
